The plugin need to be pushed a little more , once done and gain matched it's way closer ... but yep the violet eq is superb and under rated ..... imho the plugin is 100 % worth getting cause it's a SAFE and smooth natural sounding eq versus a lot around ....
I can tell the difference even on the iPhone the hardware sounds warm and punchy
